  • Fresnaye Apartments

    Fresnaye Apartments

We provided quantity surveying services for this residential development on the corner of Ave des Huguenots and Ave de Longueville in Fresnaye. The brief called for demolishing the existing house to maximise the site, delivering four luxury apartments, one occupying each floor, all oriented to take in views of Lion’s Head.

Our role covered cost planning and budget management across the full build, from the basement parking level through to a communal garden and swimming pool at ground level, right up to the top floor apartments. As Professional Quantity Surveyors, keeping four high spec luxury units on budget while maximising the value of a prime Atlantic seaboard site was central to the brief, delivering a development built to make the most of one of Cape Town’s most sought after addresses.

  • C-Breeze Apartments

    C-Breeze Apartments

C-Breeze is another project where we collaborated with the Berry Group on implementing a new beachfront residential apartment development. The contemporary residential apartment development on Cape Town’s coast is finished in a crisp navy and white facade and is designed to capture iconic views toward Table Mountain.

Our role covered compiling the bill of quantities and engaging with the financing institution for valuation purposes as the build progressed, from the rooftop pool deck down to the finished units with their dark, contemporary kitchens. The result is another well-costed, bank-funded apartment block delivered for Berry Group, adding to a growing track record of residential developments along this stretch of coast.

  • Beach Break Apartments

    Beach Break Apartments

Beach Break is another project where we collaborated with the Berry Group on implementing a new beachfront residential apartment development. The contemporary coastal development was finished with distinct crisp white render and dark steel balcony detailing to achieve a contemporary beachfront feel.

Our role covered compiling the bill of quantities and engaging directly with the financing institution for valuation purposes throughout construction, giving the contractor the documentation needed to keep the build moving and the funder the assurance it needed to release funds against progress. The result is a smart, contemporary block of apartments delivered with the cost certainty a bank-funded residential development depends on.

  • Neighbourgood Reserve

    Neighbourgood Reserve

We were appointed just before construction began on Neighbourgood Reserve, the conversion of a grand historic bank building on Adderley Street into residential co-living studios. We were brought in to review the contractor’s pricing and act as a watching brief on the client’s behalf.

Our role covered providing cost advice on variations as they arose during construction, and supporting the project through to close-out, giving the client independent oversight on a heritage conversion where getting the numbers right mattered as much as protecting the building’s character. The result is a set of smart, compact studio apartments carved out of one of Adderley Street’s most striking facades, with brass and monochrome finishes that make the most of every square metre.
